I don't know what it is about this photo that made me want to post it, but it just feels pleasantly quirky. Maybe it's the way that everything feels so framed or divided, or how it just looks incredible flat, almost cut n' paste. I think it's "boringly weird".

This is the kind of photos that I like to see... very natural and at the same time very urban... I like the big contrast between the front color and the background, how the photo express motion and at the same time how rigid the structure of the metal is... Awesome!
There's so much going on in this one that I think is really cool. The symmetry of the hydrant and yellow blockers is broken with this perfect 'lightning bolt' of brick crack and the panting runner that interrupts what seems like an otherwise really quiet scene. Neato!
I saw this guy wearing the exact same shorts, but no top this weekend. I said "hey man, you're gonna be famous and you don't even know it."
