little wonders...
I'm submitting these three photos as a singular image because I feel that they hold more power as a collection when viewed side by side. It's horrible that in our current culture so much of the innocence and virtue that we have as children is so easily washed away with media and politics as we catapult into adulthood. Here's to those who are still pure at heart.

I think putting these in a side by side group was a good way to show them. I tried visualizing what they'd be like on their own, and I think it would be good still, but they are definitely stronger together like this. Possibly what's helping is the cropping trick, where you know there's more extending beyond the square edges, but these are the spots of special focus. Plus, having a few that are very simple in their line drawing next to one that's more chaotic and all-over also helps them to compliment one another.
It's true about being catapulted into adulthood. I mean if you were to draw this now, you probably wouldn't be inclined to write "peace, love, happiness" because it'd feel too irrelevant and slightly embarrassing. But how silly that we should think that and not strive to achieve those simple things, or that we should be ashamed to admit we are looking for them?
good order to put them in. the 2 'kiddies' on the side reinforces the happy sincere message in the middle –like its their words. I like that the colors havent been adjusted too much either. its softer this way, even though a strong contrast would give it a nice pop this is 'sweeter' which goes well with the message I think.
