A day on the hill

On Wednesday we went downhill mountain biking for the first time this year at Diablo Freeride Park in the picturesque hamlet of Vernon, NJ. Of Course we brought a camera and in the process of shooting lots of riding shots I squeezed in a few more artful ones. Shots were taken with my D300, SB-800 flash and either a 50mm 1.8 or 70-200 2.8.

I like that 2nd one a lot. The green is all nice and bright against the dirt. And I can imagine a feisty little rider saying 'C'mooooooooonnnn hurry up already. i need to get this other jump in!!!'

Dude, I'm totally digging your bag of gear! Wait, you're carting around a 2.8 70-200mm??? Wow.
