New Jersey Swap Meet: The Aquas
Jenn beat me to it again with the Swap Meet fotos! After her 1st post of 'patterns' I really wanted to post some Swap pics I had. So here's my 2nd time late follow up to her AWESOME post. I realized that I was really drawn to the blue tones of the day so here's an aqua themed post (I'm sure mine's really lame 'n tame next to her crayons). Only thing I really wish was different was that I'd gotten a killer shot of my ultimate dream aqua vehicle –a 1957 Chevy Bel Air. There's usually a couple of them at the swap but I didn't get good enough shots unfortunately.

Oh man! I agree with you, it's interesting to see the different perspectives we have, in spite of seeing the exact same things. I wanted to get some photos of these cars, but couldn't envision how I'd do it, so I left it out. I love the way you frame them here, with the road stripes as a sort of grid. I also really like how the colors are starting to render in the bottom portion where the car is (the rich blacks, the people, and the road). Those wheels even look Rosenquist style.
Love the gleams on the black car! Did you add those in there, or is it au naturale?
i like those gleams too. it was the first things i saw.
those gleams are real! thats so interesting that you guys zeroed in on that! But ya, no way would I add those in. ONLY minor color balancing and contrast adjustments ever. To me, anything else too major makes it no longer the picture I took you know? Thanks for the feedback!
