Katie & Steve's Wedding

So this post is tied to a sunset photo I did previously (Sunset & Silhouette 2). Taken at same location and night, these are photos from Matt's sister's wedding. I'm not a wedding photog (or a professional one at that) but I really liked these. I thought they were really nice moments which I was lucky enough to be around for, and I thought the softness and the atmosphere of the evening was nicely captured. The 2nd one is a little grainy but I was sitting far away and trying to zoom in with no flash –so I'm still pretty happy with it. I still think it was a nice moment to capture.

I really like the second photo.
Both are great moments!
I dont know if its the grain or the color cast, but the second photo has a lomography feel to it. cool!

The way the light is hitting the bride in the first one looks "heavenly". The dad looks very proud too. Nice shot!

Thanks guys! I didnt even think of the lomography feel, I was so caught up in figuring out if I could take the grain out –which I eventually gave up on since it just took away from the photo.
You're right, pops does look very proud!

I think there's a program that is supposed to rid of the noise, but I really don't mind it much here. It gives the moments you've caught a good soft texture, which to me, emphasizes the moment. Only thing John and I were thinking is that you could go a little further and blow it out more to drop out the grain. That also might make it more cool in the low tech way. Neat! Thanks for sharing!

Noise Ninja is worth a try :) I use it sometimes.
