Claymore Challenge 2009
Last weekend we headed up to Highland Mountain in New Hampshire to check out the second year of the Claymore Challenge, an event in which some big name pro bike riders come and compete on a slopestyle course. Since many of the riders are hardly ever within reach on the east coast, we were thrilled to be able to catch them.
From wiki: "Slopestyle" type riding is an increasingly popular genre that combines big-air, stunt-ridden freeride with BMX style tricks. Slopestyle courses...include jumps, large drops, and other wooden obstacles. There are always multiple lines through a course and riders compete for judges' points by choosing lines that highlight their particular skills.
I wanted to share a quick few shots I took (there's hundreds!).

That first shot is my fave. I like that the rider's head is cropped. Kind of makes me focus more on the athletic ability and what a person's body does when pulling such a move.
