While driving
Admit it—you're guilty of taking random snap shots while driving or in a moving car. Fortunately for everyone involved, these were taken while I rode as passenger around upstate New York a summer or so ago. The proof is in a peek of the car window edge or that pesky side view mirror, inevitably containing the sharpest portion of the photo.
All were taken with a Canon SD700, car speed around 60mph, at various times of day, eastern standard.

I like the random "off" look, like a video/movie still, especially the first one. Hot.
ya i like the 1st and last shot. both of them have the same thing going on –the 'subjects' are obstructed by a fence of trees. I can imagine that if you'd gotten these shots at sundown it'd make for some really awesome creepy photos. especially the last one with the police tape on it. very horror movie set.
Ah! It's too bad I didn't get the last one at dusk, it would have definitely been creepy. I can see how Sleepy Hollow became what it is. There's something about those old buildings and trees, dense woods, and often mossy grounds that make areas upstate sooo eerie.
See, big cameras can be fun.
