For some reason im drawn to desaturate my photos. kinda exploring what that means with my photography and how it affects the general feel of my shots.. Prospect park in June..
Great photo. Very dynamic and rolling. The desaturation and vignetting are working for me. It definitely implies an added layer of importance or presence.
Oh god, no telling what happens on paper! I think the greyness of it is really nice, it has a certain voice to it. Maybe the only thing I'd wish for it is that the orange cones popped out more? I've been seeing a lot of the shading around the edges on images and I'm really attracted to that tough. It's like it adds a kind of whimsy. Or something.
Same as jenn. Really nice shot. I like how tiny and miniscule humans are. This really shows it. But man, if those cones were popping more it'd be great little specs to spot in the photo.

About us:
We know many different types of people: Old and young. Some with background studies in the arts and others in the Sciences. Some may be self-taught tradesmen. Although they have divergent careers and very different upbringings, we've found that many have a common interest in photography.
We all love to press the shutter button, hear that tiny "click" and know that an image is made. Maybe it's a portrait, maybe a landscape, or maybe just a happy accident—the images taken are as different as the individuals that took them.
We formed Le Clique to bring together all of those different people, give them a forum to post their work, and enjoy the juxtapositions, harmony, and contrast between the things they love to photograph. Our contributors have two very simple rules: you must take the photo yourself and it must be for the simple joy of taking it.

yeah i'm still getting the hang of processing. the balance and all..
I may have gone a tad far with this one, but it was a good study i think.
i think i need to figure out a printing situation so i can see the results on paper..
