Truck Garden

I'm not quite sure how this would work. Nonetheless, I saw this bizarre thing down the street the other day and was enamored by the idea. There are some very healthy tomato and basil plants in the back of this pick-up, I dare say healthier than my stationary potted plants.

I wonder if the truck bed cover regulations still apply to this...

Sweet! This owner of this truck must be some kinda modern day gypsy.

It's apparently some experiment called Wicked Delicate, complete with it's own little songs about land envy and so on. I do think it's a kind of punk rock idea in the sense that while most usually say, "oh well, one day I'll have that, just not now." They are saying "Hmm, I can't afford to buy land here, but I do have a truck. So I'll do it my own way without the $3-5 per sq ft baggage."
